FFPRESS is excited to confirm details for the official launch of The Legend from Bruce Rock: The Wally Foreman Story.
Please note that due to capacity and weekend staffing restrictions, this event will be invite-only.
The official book launch will take place from about 10:30am on Saturday 29 July at ABC Radio Perth’s East Perth studios.
Popular ABC Radio Perth program Sports Talk, with which Wally Foreman had a close association, will commence its scheduled show at 10am from the Wally Foreman Studio.
Host Clint Wheeldon and the panel of experts will then relocate to the ground floor Studio 620 from 11am, broadcasting the second half of the program with the live audience of the book launch.
The second half of Sports Talk will take in interviews from event guests and Foreman family members, while reflecting on the life of Wally Foreman.
Once Sports Talk comes to a close, the official proceedings will begin for the launch of The Legend from Bruce Rock: The Wally Foreman Story.
Hosted by popular ABC Radio Perth’s Mornings presenter Geoff Hutchison, a man who shared a serendipitous history with Wally, the event will feature addresses from highly-respected WA cricketing icon Justin Langer, close friend and former footballer Bryan Cousins and author Glen Foreman.
